Had a review appointment with my ENT yesterday!!! at the end of it, the doctor echoed in affirmation to my two words: God's Grace!! Indeed, yes! God's Grace!!! I'm alive and sane, today, through God's Grace!!! At the right moment, in the right hour He healed me, through an surgical procedure. The dead debris which could have destroyed me are now healed, by God's Grace!!! Amazing Grace indeed!!!
During my stay for the surgical procedure, i had a good chance to read through the book Healing of the sick by Charles Francis. The book gave me a good perspective about diseases and death, that i it helped me go in a positive frame of mind to the surgery and back. Thought it would be a good worth to share!!!
How can one be diseased:
1. To a large extent Disease is a fruit of manifested sin!!! Diseases cannot enter the body unless the Spirit of man is first brought down through bondage of sin. The medical science practitioners largely blame stress as a reason for gammoth of diseases which in my perspective is hardness of heart and "Manifested" sin.
2. As a test of faith, few like Job, also have to battle with challenge of diseases. I've seen few righteous souls die off diseases that eroded their bodies! But not all mankind can have diseases because of this kind: Test of Faith, reasons.
3. Sedentary lifestyle, bad diet and no exercise regime: Abusing the Body, which is Temple of God.
What can be done:
1. Introspect??? I think Man's sins are toooooo many, that introspection will only lead endless thought process!!When a man sin's, be it just a white lie of gossip (Howbeit, bigger ones like idle mind, ungodly heart and physical abuse of our bodies), there a a bondage that layers the mind of sinner. This, bondage is not isolated, it's accumulates (one devil brings in Seven), and over years the spirit is fully weakened and diseases are manifested. No Disease is an overnight process. It take time!!! But, the good news is that, If we ask God Jesus Christ to come into our heart and heal us (our soul not bodies!) through His Stripes, and if we ask in His name through sincerity of heart, selfless prayer for redemption of soul, our bodies will be healed. Healing or Sickness, first it's the Soul or Spirit of Man that will go through the experience of it! and then it will be translated to our bodies!!! He (Christ) Died for our sins, he purged out our inquties. by His stripes i'm healed!
2. What matters the most is the Spirit be saved!! In this frame of mind, body and material world, feels less important!! To me, expect my Edsley and Bryan, nothing else mattered!!! I was ready to open my eyes at God's Kingdom (Though the surgery was minor procedure!), but one thing that kept me praying for more days of life, was Bryan! My Son needed a Mother!! and life may not be complete for him without me around in his growing years!!! This one thing, yet was not my straw, for asking God to keep me alive!!! I gave it all at His feet, for his will divine, to be! and what came out, was a successful surgery of extensive debris that had accumulated in my mastoid. Pray, for the Soul's disease to leave, and kingdom of God rest in your Spirit!! Healing of Body, is just byproduct of salvation of soul! (Remember, salvation of soul cannot be bought and should not be sought in prayer with selfish intent of healing of bodily diseases. It's only true repentance of heart and quench of God's redemption, that can bring about Salvation).
3. Honoring ourselves and our bodies with right diet and exercise regiment. There are three aspects to any Man! Spiritual Health, Mental Health and Physical Health. A positive Spiritual and Physical Health, will largely impact the Mind to have a Positive and Sane Mental Health. All three aspects are equally important, and to concentrate all of one's energies into just one chore of life (eg) stress,... will drain out the life in man

Doctors who performed the surgery as just another medical manual procedure were completely kissed by chance of luck, for their patient to survive. On the other had, Serviced Minded good Samaritan Doctors, who said a simple sincere prayer for their patients, prior to placing their hands and operating them, had a far better survival and success record. It’s God who heals, Doctors may be instruments of His Healing! If you have a doctor friend who is a Christian, you may want to hear this perspective from him.
2. In my personal experience, both this mastoid surgery and my Natural Child birth was a miracle with the Hand of God. For the Mastoid, I got operated in the right time! Else, the extensiveness of debris could have setback . For my Child Birth, I could have had a C-section, due to my baby’s unengaged head. Yet, in the moment it mattered, God’s miraculously, made my baby engage into the girdle – a event that even made my Gynec and staff nurses wonder with glad wowness!!! I have personally felt that my failures, set back or health issues are solely due to sins of my life!!! But, yet in my Sins, whenever I called unto the Lord for help, He heard me and delivered me!!!
